Say Good-Bye
Say goodbye to the stockbrokers and hello to the world of technology. That little thing you hold in your hand making you an android, connect you right to the stock market. Right at your fingertips are the means to invest in your future. All you have to do is download a few apps or just one. Most apps nowadays are user friendly. A lot of the time you can download the app and start investing just after a few steps. The top two apps I would recommend would have to be Cash app and Robbin hood.
401K
If you’re at a job that offers 401k, you’re already in the game my friend. This allows you to make small contributions or a regular basis to your long-term goal of retirement. This is great for people who found a job that they are great or comfortable at. A 401k provides a security at the end at the end of 30 years or more on the job.
Stock Market
So the stock market was the first piece of advice I ever got from someone. I had saved up $5000 and asked someone who was well off how they would have invested it. The advice was to look at companies I’m familiar with. So I did. Some of the best advice I ever got. I watch the stocks for a few months, trying get a feel for how they move. Imagine I had put money into the stocks. I saw I could have been making money so, I jumped in my friends.
ETF’s
The more I invested the more I knew I had to learn about the stock market and the different ways to make money. I learned about (ETFs) exchange traded funds. This is like investing in a group of stocks instead of just one. ETFs like S&P 500, Russell 200, and NASDAQ are major benchmarks. Stocks that pay dividends was also something I learned about. Dividends are payments you receive for investing in a company. You receive payments weather the stock goes up or down.
Day-Trading
Another way you can use the stock market to make money is by day trading. Day trading is nothing more than buying a stock and selling it at a profit. This would take a nice amount of cash. You want to buy a large amount and sell when you reach your goal. Maybe that $50 or $500 a day, either way profit is profit if you ask me.
The Bad Side
Now that I told you about the good part of the stock market let me tell you about the bad side. Not doing your research and investing in companies you know nothing or little about can cause you to lose a lot of money.
Summary
The stock market is a great place to invest money if you know what you’re doing. Just do your research, be patient, and be a risk taker! They say scared money don’t make money. Sometimes you get lucky and join a reddit group and make a lot of money.
